Welcome Parents

Recognizing the parent as the primary teacher, SCL fosters a strong home-school relationship. Parents have access to the principal and teachers in person, by phone, and via email. There are numerous ways for parents to get involved in the school and in their child’s education.

These include:

• Parent Club
  All parents are considered members of the Parent Club, which supports the school through fundraising and volunteer opportunities.
• Room Parents
  Each classroom has one or more room parents to organize class events and teacher gifts.
• Booster Club
  The Booster Club is a sports organization that develops, directs, and implements the athletic programs for St. Catherine Labouré School.
• School Board
  The School Board furthers the overall mission of the school and consists of the Principal, the Pastor, and ten elected parishioners.
• Prayer Group
  Organized by the Parent Club, the Prayer Group members meet each week to pray together and enrich their spiritual lives.
• Family Support Network
  This group helps families in times of significant change by preparing meals and providing other support.
