School Board Meetings
School Board meets once a month, typically on the 4th Monday of the month at 7pm in the Library. All SCL parents are welcome to attend, and the minutes will be posted on the school web site.
Fundraising Expectations
Each family must purchase or sell 3 lottery tickets ($100 each) for our annual Super Cash Lottery ($15,000 grand prize). Additional funds are raised through special events such as meet and greet nights and the spring Trivia Night. Funds are used to supplement school operating budget so that additional needs can be met. Past purchases have included computers, additional books, playground equipment.
School Board Committees
In addition to the monthly meetings of the full board, much of the work done by school board happens in committee meetings that are held on an as-needed basis. You do not need to be a school board member to work on a committee. The following are the committee assignments and goals for the 2011-2012 academic year.
