The three main volunteer organizations supporting the school are:
The SCL School Board supports the school's development through working committees such as Budget, Technology, Wellness, and Marketing. Each family must purchase or sell three $100 lottery tickets each January to support the School Board activities.
The Parent Club works to strengthen our school community and provide supplementary funds that further educational objectives. Each family is asked to contribute $150 per year to support the Parent Club via a donation, or by supporting the various fundraisers offered throughout the year. Every SCL parent is automatically a member of the Parent Club.
The Booster Club supports our no-cut school's athletic programs for students in fifth through eigth grades. Their main fundraisers throughout the year are the annual Oktoberfest (held October 16th, 2010) and the Walkathon (held in the late spring of each year).
