Susanne Wilson
Mrs. Wilson, SCL's beloved art teacher, has been teaching at St. Catherine's for over 21 years!  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

"As an art teacher I feel that I teach more than just drawing, painting, cutting and gluing. It is my goal to help children express themselves creatively, appreciate the beauty they see in the world around them, to take pride in their accomplishments and recognize connections in other areas of study."

SCL wouldn't be the same without Mrs. Wilson.  When she isn't teaching an art class, she is creating a beautiful and creative set for the Christmas program, or some other school event/production.  Her creativity never ceases to amaze us!

In her downtime, she likes to spend time with her family relaxing by Lake Nokomis in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.  They enjoy boating in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.  She is also a huge sports fan and cheers for the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and the Fighting Illini!  Both of her daughters, Lindsay and Kelsey, have also worked at SCL in the preschool program and are loved by all of the little ones.  In addition to her two daughters, she and her husband also love their two dogs - a chocolate lab named Ally and a mixed breed puppy named Buff.
