Third grade teacher, Mrs. Sanchez, has been teaching since 1994 and has been at SCL since 1999.  She has taught a wide variety of grade levels ranging from 1st through 5th grades.  


Graduating from Metropolitan State College of Denver, she received her B.A. in Behavioral Science.  She then went on to receive her Masters in Education in Curriculum Development from DePaul University in Chicago.


Mrs. Sanchez shares .... "I enjoy working with and helping children learn.  I am always impressed by their sense of wonder about the world, their honesty and sincerity, and their natural optimism.  As much as possible, I want to help them retain those qualities as they pursue their academic, intellectual, and spiritual endeavors in school."


Mrs. Sanchez loves nature and enjoys many outdoor activities.  She has an interest in the arts, loves reading, and is a bit of a news junkie.
