"My educational philosophy includes me being committed to the development of each student as an individual who possesses unique abilities and needs. My classroom environment provides opportunities for intellectual, emotional and social growth. By nurturing students' self confidence, I am assured students will be active learners. Each student is encouraged to realize his/her full potential through curiosity, creativity and action. I recognize parents as an integral part in each student's life and encourage a strong parent/teacher bond. My reasons for becoming a teacher include the enjoyment of working with children, being a positive role model and being motivated in wanting to help children learn and succeed."

In her downtime, Ms. Prokopiak enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
