Diane Greif
Mrs. Grief is entering her fifth year at St. Catherine Laboure after teaching at St. Cornelius for 15 years.  At St. Cornelius she taught 1st grade, and now she teaches small math groups, library for K-5th, and recess for K-3rd at SCL.

Attending St. Benedicts for 12 years, Mrs. Grief herself is a product of Catholic education herself.  After St. Benedict's, she then went on to both De Paul and Northeastern.

Between the playground, library, and math classes, Mrs. Grief has contact with a large amount of students, it is amazing to see how she knows each child by name within the first couple weeks of school!  As a teacher, Mrs. Grief really enjoys teaching reading and seeing the enjoyment books give to the students.  Mrs. Grief shares that she loves SCL because "... it is a great place where the individual student is recognized as unique."

In her downtime, she enjoys walking, reading, and watching all sports.  She is also very interested in animals and animal rights and charities having to do with animals.
